Siddharth, son of the late legendary director Bharathan remakes ‘Nidra’, one of Bharathan’s classic movies. Released in 1981, this was the debut film of Shanthi Krishna.
The new version is titled 'Suhruthu' with Reema kallingal and Jishnu ('nammal' fame) in lead roles.
